My graduation dresses // Mine studenterkjoler

This week I finally graduated from the Higher Commercial Examination, which is a bit similar to the upper secondary school but with focus on business. It have been crazy hectic and super tiring especially because we also celebrate Ramadan these days. In Denmark the sun is down for less than 4 hours, which in my case means sleeping very late every night. This have been a bit difficult because I had to get up early in the following mornings to celebrate the other students who had their last examinations after me. I barely had any time to breath or eat this week. Nonetheless, I have had one of the best weeks in my life and I am super happy we all made it through 3 years of hard work and difficult times. As much as I am enjoying the fact that I have finished my exams, I cannot avoid feeling a bit sad about having to say goodbye to all of my classmates. It is some sort of a bittersweet feeling.

Enough emotionel stuff. Let's move to my outfits; one for my last examination day, and one for my graduation day. Tradition in Denmark is that girls wear white (or blue/red shade depending on choice of education). I went for white dresses both days and tried to stick to white clothes throughout the week. The graduation hat is also an important part of our outfits and most students wear them for 7-14 days after their last exam to symbolize their graduation for the world. People are super nice and congratulate everyone wearing the hat. One of the little things I love about Denmark and its traditions.

When I headed towards London I had two goals; loads of shopping in Primark (we don't have any in Denmark) and paying at least one visit to Beirut Nights. This was acutally a study trip. We (me and 60 other students) headed to London to take a course at Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College. Studying in a different country with a different language was actually a pretty rewarding experience. We had the oppurtunity to see how English schools were, how students dressed and how they behaved.
Enough about school. The best part of my trip was all the shopping I made. I actually had to pay a visit to Primark 3 times before I was satisfied. But you can check out the pics and judge youself
